Her blue eyes met his brown. She took his hand in hers and asked, "Do you love me?" He looked away, long black hair curtaining his face. Ignoring all the human emotions. "No."the word left his lips. Her heart shattered.

This is nice to see. Kagome is a skanky home-wrecker. Plus she's a fucking idiot. I can understand going to this time in her school uniform ONCE when she didn't know she'd be going, but why the hell would someone wear a short and provocative skirt to a time where women got RAPED constantly?

and again, no one in lucky star or any of those series is likley to get raped in their series
you people are really only reading the school uniform bit aren't you? Just ignoring the era she's going to altogether.
It's NOT the UNIFORM I have a problem with, it's the fact that she can't seem to wear jeans to an era where she's travelling alot and risking getting raped alot. A connection between the legs is not hard, and jeans can show she is from the future as well.

Um, you shouldnt complain about her skirt. There's never been 1 panty shot and its a SEIFUKU. A japanese school uniform. Many anime girls wear it and it just represents the fact that they are from the future.
Also, her english dubbed voice isnt the best, but her Japanese voice is. Thats technically judging her.
panty shots or not, it's a short skirt if you look at how high up the hemline is on her legs. The lack of panty shots is just unrealistic, and it's stupid to wear something like that to the feudal era. Sango wears long skirts and pants, why can't Kagome? She has jeans, we know she does, she wears them at home. She's a dumb cow, end of story.

I dont think its her fault. Technically its common for FICTIONAL CHARACTERS to wear one certain outfit through the whole series, and it represents the fact that she is from the future. All anime girls wear it -- Lucky Star, Haruhi Suzumiya, Card Captor Sakura, the girls from Bleach, Clannad -- you get the point. And her speciality is shooting arrows, not kicking people in the ass or doing some wierd gymnastic moves. And of course it matters if there is no pantyshot, no pantyshot -- no worry. She doesnt go around flaunting her butt all over.
well the lack of panty shots is just bad animation in general because people seem to be terrified of a little bit of skin showing for some reason, so the physics in the cartoon universe are altered to prevent that even though in reality a skirt that short would show you a pantyshot rather often with how much she runs and sits and whatnot.
You don't need an impractical school uniform to 'symbolize' you are from the future when we as an audience are constantly seeing her go back and forth through time, bringing back food and textbooks from the future and so on. You cannot honestly tell me there is any need for such a retarded outfit.
Now, in Lucky Star and whatnot these characters are not located in a time period where getting raped is more common than getting sick. In bleach, the most 'action filled' anime you listed, none of the characters in school girl outfits actually fight in their schoolgirl outfits. Thus, schoolgirl outfit is stupid.
You don't have to type in caps to emphasis fictional characters, it's perfectly fine to hate them, and good reason to hate her is the fact that she serves as a (bad in this case) role model for young girls. It's like Bella Swan, both have a 'let the man handle it' attitude that encourages girls to think the unrealistic hope that if they are in trouble some prince charming will save them and to not bother trying to save themselves.
